This is a cute little jack! With his dark nose and dark eye rings he looks like a little Bandit. He is still a little bit shy but he does enjoy his neck rubs once he decides that I am not so bad. We purchased his mother and him to ensure that she would not be continued to be bred. She should have never been bred in the first place. She has an overbite! This little guy's bite is ok but since he is out of a mom with an off bite he will only be sold as a pet without papers of course. He can later be registered as a gelding if the new owner decides to do that. He deserves a good and loving home and has a lifetime of love to give! Of course as with all of our donkeys he will need to go to a home where he'll have a companion! He can also be placed with his mother to a non-breeding home. His mother can be seen on the Rescue page as well as on the mature jennets for sale page.

Bandit is now a very friendly little guy and even wants to follow me out of the gate for attention.

This boy is a beautiful young jack! While he has the traditional gray-color he is a very correct boy - definitely show quality!

Sadly he is considered a rescue since he basically had to leave the home he has known overnight due to his owners' divorce. The water had already been turned off to the property and one of the family members had to bring these donkeys feed and water - a situation that could not be sustained. He came to us with three girls that we originally sold to the owners as babies a couple of years ago. There is no way we can keep him - since he is a boy and therefore are looking for a good home for him. As I mentioned above he would make a nice show donkey - maybe even driving donkey.

This boy is registered with a good pedigree that only has small donkeys in the background. Valintino 53, Philamena 58 and LN bloodlines make this boy a nice find for somebody!

There is also a little pet jenny that needs a home, too.

Lil' Dexter is probably the sweetest and most mellow jack that we have owned. He almost seems to be too mellow. He is the smallest of our jacks now and we are looking forward to seeing what he will produce with a few of our jennies.

We are realizing that we have just too many jacks with our junior herd sire being ready this year - 5 mature jacks is just too many and so we have decided to offer the newest addition for sale. We have purchased him as a "show quality" jack (except for one of his ear tips having a part missing due to an injury as a foal. With his very small size and small genetics he should bring  foals down in size. He will also make a very sweet pet if someone just wants a pocket pet - he loves attention! He is a tiny little guy!

Lakota's last foal born in 2007 was an adorable, gray NLP little jack. His first foal in 2008 is a gray NLP little jenny! And what a cutie she is - she didn't quiet make it for Valentine's Day but she is still a Sweet Valentine for us.

Sweet Valentine is a little bundle of energy from Day 1. I had no success trying to take pictures of her by myself - so my daughters had to assist to keep her busy. Even with the help - I got many pictures with just a blur, ears or a little tail on it.  This little girl is built like a tank and has a lot of width to her - including a nice round butt!

She is worth every penny and if she doesn't sell we will keep her for a future brood jenny.

I put her up in the stall and checked on her throughout the night. She delivered this beautiful Jolly son about 4 hours after Soballia had her boy! He is perfect in every way! Small, with a short back, beautiful tiny head and simply adorable, with an outstanding pedigree AND COLOR behind him! So this little jack should have the ability to throw all kinds of different color!

I believe he has the makings for a future herd sire.

Miriam decided to have her baby on the coldest night in over a month 31 degrees and freezing!  She could have waited another day since she was due on April 19th and temperatures warmed up the very next morning. Miriam did not look any closer to birthing in the evening when I checked on her so I didn't think I needed to put her on "foal watch" and didn't even put her inside the barn. The next morning this little spotted, curly girl greeted me at feeding time. She was a little cool so I put a little blanket on her for a couple of hours until she warmed up and put her into a stall. I felt terrible all day for not having checked on her throughout the night or at least put her into a stall but there were no indicators that she would have her baby that night. At least Miriam chose the small shed to deliver her baby where the temps hopefully remained above freezing.  My daughter named this little girl!

Stunning, stunning, stunning..... What a beautiful girl Dottie had! We are happy that this baby is here! She is one of our biggest foals that has been born here but she is simply stunning! Dottie has been barely moving around this last month of her pregnancy and we could tell that her front  feet were bothering her. She had been previously foundered and had a broken crest when we purchased her a few years back but this was the first time that her feet really bothered her during pregnancy. It doesn't surprise me after seeing this little whopper! I know Dottie is glad that she is here but delivered her in a speedy delivery by herself as usual. When we checked on her at 2:40 AM the baby was still laying down and had not found her feet, yet. All is well with this little one and Dottie is beginning to feel a little bit better since she has gotten rid of her extra weight.

Dolly has given us three perfect and beautiful babies (D'Angelo (2004), Miss India (2005) and now Hot Chocolate in 2007. Dolly will be sold strictly as a pet only as we think that pregnancies take too much out of her. When it is really dry and dusty Dolly has an occasional but chronic cough. She would do best in a little bit of a cooler climate than Kentucky.  

Dolly is a complete sweetheart that we can let out into our yard and she will not walk off. She always trusts me 100% with her foals. She was never lead trained but goes anywhere with me. I want Dolly to go to a permanent home where she will be loved as much as I love her and not be a number. Dolly likes children.

Almond Joy is a beautiful jenny. She has bone, has a stocky built and is nicely filled out. We are proud to have her in our future brood jenny band.

Almond Joy and Little Thumper's are making their new home in Gittlede, Germany.

Thumper was born to Silver Mist that we had purchased bred to Lil' Half Pint's Lil' Caesar in the summer of 2005. She is a cute little jenny but her name fits her to a "T". She is a very active youngster and knows what she wants.

Thumper is too small for our breeding program. She has made her new home in  Gittelde, Germany. We really miss this little girl!
