2020 Foals

All babies have arrived...

Shayla - Update: Shayla had the last baby for the season out of Tomahawk. She had a cute little girl that just looks like her mom on 30. September 2020. She is a sweet baby.

Sunny - Update: Sunny for her last baby broke the tradition of being last to foal. We have one more baby due this fall. So she was next to last. She gave birth on 20. September 2020 to Nubia, a little spotted girl out of Cash. I am not sure if this little girl is frosted spotted white or a true spot. Time will tell. We have decided to keep this little girl.

Sage - Update: Sage, one of my favorite girls gave birth to a cute little red based FSW boy named Red Sky with lots of color! He was born on 15. Sept. out of Cash and was our 3rd boy in a row. Absolutely adorable.

Ramona - Update: Ramona gave birth to the most beautiful little boy Nazook on 14. September 2020 out of Cash. He is the second spotted boy in a row. He has some super nice coloring with a horseshoe on this side, and he is a solid boy.

Maybelline - Update: Maybelline gave birth to a nicely colored boy named Izan out of Cash on 12. Sept. 2020. He is a solid boy.

Jacqueline - Update: Jacqueline gave birth to a sweet little brown girl out of Tomahawk that we named Albee, on 7. Sept. 2020. She has a tiny star on her forehead, just like her moma. We have decided to keep Albee.

Razzle Dazzle - Update: Razzle Dazzle gave birth to a very dark red boy out of Firecracker on 06. Sept. 2020. Dazzle bagged up within a short 2 days! His name is LUVEE, named by his new owners.

Modesty - Update: Modesty gave birth to a super solid, and stocky little boy on 30. August 2020 out of Cash. He is simply adorable and loves attention! He was a girl... there would be no question...It would be a keeper. His name is Cookie, named by his new owners.

Nona- Update: Nona had this adorable little red-based frosted spotted white girl, Mezquite out of Cash on 28. August 2020. This little girl was a cuddle bug from the start and is pretty woolly!

Anna Bell - Update: Anna Bell gave birth to a cute little dark girl, that we named Kallani, on 16. August 2020 out of Custer. We started out the fall foaling season with two babies in one day. We have decided to keep Kallani.

Yelena - Update: Yelena gave birth to our first "fall baby" even though she was put in with the jack in the spring. We thought she was never going to have this baby, but she finally did: on August 16. 2020 out of Firecracker. He is a tiny guy, that is happy to finally be able to use his legs! His new owners named him Jasper.

Leoti - Update: Leoti is Karena's girl that gave birth to probably the last foal this spring, a little boy named Anchovy on 27. April 2020. (We have two other jennies that were exposed to the jack) that just don't look very pregnant, but they haven't come back into heat either. We'll be keeping an eye on them throughout the summer). Leoti had a cute little boy during the night, that we didn't expect. We were not even on baby watch because there were no signs at all. She has had the same small milk bag for weeks. This was a birth we were not going to miss, but we did! Since Leoti can have a strong personality (pushy and independent) we were a little bit worried that there may be problems with her being a first time mom and therefore wanted to make sure to be there. We are thankful that she bonded nicely to her baby and let him nurse without problems. She still has this innocent, "what happened?" look in her eyes. We are so proud of our two first time mommies this spring! Sold

Anchovy is sold...

Serena - Update: Serena gave birth to a dark red girl "Anina" that looks to have a lot of roaning on her legs, on 25th April, 2020. She is still a little shy asking for attention, because the other babies crowd her out every time. So we always have to make sure that she at least gets some attention without the other babies around.

Andina - Update: Andina gave birth to a little girl "Guava" on 22. April 2020, another carbon copy of herself. She popped out friendly and is the second baby out of Custer our jack we sold last year. This is why we are keeping her.

Vienna - Update: This is a difficult update since Vienna lost her baby in a difficult delivery on April 18th. The baby's back leg was stuck on her pelvic rim and we could not get it dislodged in time. Her beautiful little spotted girl passed away while we were trying to free her. We are thankful to have saved our sweet Vienna though which wouldn't have been the case if we hadn't been right there. It was just heartbreaking to see her try to get her baby up. We left them together for 5 hours until we could see that she was accepting the fact. Vienna was to retire after this baby, and she is now officially retired. We will offer her to a non-breeding home in a few weeks, once we know she is a 100% recovered from her ordeal. Vienna has sold...

Steffie - Update: Steffie gave birth to a tiny little girl "Persimmon" on 15. April 2020 out of I-C-Hot Ice. She is a keeper and the friendliest little girl around!

Marillya - Update: Marillya gave birth to a little frosted spotted white boy "Nubes", on 13. April 2020 out of Cash. She is protective of him, as she has been with all of her babies. So it will be a few days before we are allowed to really cuddle him. He is a nice little boy. Marillya will be retired, so both will be offered for sale, Marillya to a non-breeding home only.

Sahara - Update: Sahara gave birth to a cute little pink jack "Bahulu" on 10. April 2020, on Good Friday out of I-C-Hot Ice. He is an active baby, that loves to play with his moma. I normally don't take pictures when they pee, but this one was just too cute! I couldn't believe the amount that came out of this little boy!

Palomita - Update: Palomita gave birth to an adorable spotted girl "Azuki" on 07. April 2020 on "Super Moon" night! She is a first time mom and is doing great with her little girl.

Pam - Update: Pam gave birth to a cute black girl "Baklava" out of Custer on 14. March 2020. We were hoping for a girl since we were going to keep her last one from the same pairing. Now since we sold the sire, we want to continue his bloodline. Therefore, we are keeping her.

Saluki - Update: We purchased Saluki in March of 2020 from and estate and were not aware that she had been exposed to a jack. By her age we knew she shouldn't be pregnant and she came into heat all summer. We then put her with one of our jacks in the fall for a fall 2020 foal. On January 6th, 2020 we found her with a baby girl "Sarasa". Mom didn't have any milk, so we fed baby colostrum and mom medicine to bring in her milk. She never got much but enough to support the baby. The baby knew it had to supplement at an early age. I never had a baby trying to eat hay at 2 days of age and ate grain with her mom at 5 days. We were so worried about her, but she looks to be doing well. She is a sweetheart, too. This little girl will sell unregistered since we don't know who the father was. We just know that a red jack was part of the estate.
